yoga (n): fostering harmony in the body, mind, and environment
As you deepen your breath,
you are able to experience the freedom and peace
of being fully present in the moment.

As you find stillness, you become aware
of the ongoing story
your brain is constantly creating.
Try it: Extended Side Angle Pose
Spread your legs wide apart. Extend the arms into a T position with your palms facing down. Turn the right foot outward to 90 degrees, and turn the left foot slightly inward. Lift through your spine, keeping the sides of the torso equally long. Press the left outer foot and heel to the floor as you begin to bend the right knee toward a 90-degree angle.
Try It: Warrior 2 Pose
Bring your right arm forward and your left arm backward. Lengthen your stance as you open your hips to face the side of the mat.
Make sure that your right knee is still deeply bent over the right ankle. Engage your quads and sink the hips a little lower.
Try it: Tree Pose
Balance on one foot, while holding the other foot to your calf or above the knee (but never on the knee) at a right angle. Try to focus on one spot in front of you, while you balance for one minute.
Try it: Warrior 1 Pose
Step your left foot toward the back of your mat. Bring the left heel to the floor and turn the toes out to about a 45-degree angle. Begin to bend your right knee so it comes over the ankle.
